Synergy Surveys is proudly supporting NRW Holdings and Brockman Engineering on the SP2 Parker Point Desalination Plant—a landmark component of Rio Tinto’s $653 million AUD Pilbara Water Security Initiative.

This critical infrastructure project will initially deliver 4 gigalitres of potable water annually, with capacity to scale up to 8 gigalitres in future stages—ensuring long-term, sustainable water supply for Rio Tinto’s coastal operations and local communities in the Pilbara.

Marble Bar Road Upgrade – Section 3

Synergy Surveys is proud to support Decmil in the delivery of Section 3 of the Marble Bar Road Upgrade, part of a $120 million multi-stage initiative to transform over 90 kilometres of remote Pilbara highway into a safer, more reliable two-lane sealed road.

Funded through a partnership between the Western Australian Government and Atlas Iron, and project managed by HanRoy (a Hancock Prospecting entity), the upgrade is critical to improving freight efficiency, supporting mining operations, and providing safer access to regional and Indigenous communities.

Section 3 involves the realignment and upgrade of 22.95 kilometres of road to Main Roads WA standards, with Decmil awarded a $61 million construction contract for this scope. Synergy Surveys is delivering a comprehensive suite of Surveying services to ensure accuracy and efficiency across every stage of project delivery.

Ongoing UAV topographical survey of over 1,000,000 m² road corridor
Clearing pegging of over 46km across highly undulating terrain
Establishment of a comprehensive control network featuring 360+ high-precision control points, designed for project-wide consistency and longevity
Site calibrations and machine control base network establishment to support automated construction workflows
Machine control design management, updates, and field validations across the construction fleet
Design revision integration, enabling rapid response to evolving site conditions and engineering changes
Construction quantity reporting and forecasting, providing real-time data for progress claims, planning, and commercial alignment
